This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment.

JAMMERS OFF-SEASON CLINICS: 

What: Jammers Volleyball Club will be hosting specialized volleyball clinics for athletes wanting to improve their skill set during the off-season.

 

Ages: 11 & under - 18 & under

Dates:  April 21st through May 19th

Location:  Riverside High School - 3218 Rose of Sharon Rd Durham, NC 27712

Pricing: $50 per single clinic

 

Sunday, April 21st:

Serving & Serve Receive Clinic: This clinic will cover the different serving types and techniques including Overhand, Float, Jump Float, and Zone serving.  It will also focus on proper body positioning and reaction to receiving a serve.

2:00 - 3:45 pm: 12U and under 

4:00 - 5:45 pm: 13U - 15U

6:00 - 7:45 pm: 16U - 18U

 

Sunday, April 28th: 

Setting Clinic: This clinic will cover the proper setting techniques including setting footwork, hand techniques, zone setting, and out-of-system setting. 

2:00 - 3:45 pm: 12U and under 

4:00 - 5:45 pm: 13U - 15U

6:00 - 7:45 pm: 16U - 18U

 

Blocking Clinic: This clinic will cover proper blocking techniques including footwork, closing the block, and the block-transition-hit techniques. 

2:00 - 3:45 pm: 16U-18U

4:00 - 5:45 pm: 12U and under 

6:00 - 7:45 pm: 13U - 15U

*Please note these times are different to allow athletes to participate in both clinics on April 28th. 

 

Sunday, May 5th:

Defense Clinic: This clinic will cover defensive techniques including free/down ball, footwork, platform, digging, and reading techniques. 

2:00 - 3:45 pm: 12U and under 

4:00 - 5:45 pm: 13U - 15U

6:00 - 7:45 pm: 16U - 18U

 

Sunday, May 19th:

Hitting Clinic: This clinic will cover Pin (Outside & Right Side) and Middle hitting techniques including footwork, touchpoints, approaches, and proper arm swing techniques.

2:00 - 3:45 pm: 12U and under 

4:00 - 5:45 pm: 13U - 15U

6:00 - 7:45 pm: 16U - 18U
